Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine effects of twelve weeks plyometric training on technical skill performance of handball players in Debre Markos handball team players. The total subject for the study were twenty-two (n =22) male handball trainees of Debre Markos handball team players in 2019/2020. The study populations were little; all were taken as a sample by using comprehensive sampling technique. Through randomization method trainees segregated in to two groups, an experimental group (n=11) and a control group (n=11). The experimental group (EG) performed a twelve-week plyometric exercise, 3-days per week for a total of 60 minutes per day and the control group (CG) did not perform any plyometric exercise that designed for this study. To achieve the objective of this study, quantitative research approach and True experimental research design was utilized. The data was collected through field technical skill test of study participants and this data were analyzed by using Paired sample t-test and Independent sample t-test statistical tools. Based on the data analyzed, the pre-posttest performance of EG were significantly improved in shooting accuracy and speed dribbling dependent variables (SA, P=0.000, SD, P= 0.002, p<0.05), but passing accuracy was not improved at the level of significance (P= 0.457, p>0.05); similarly, the independent t-test shows the posttest performance of shooting accuracy and speed dribbling of EG where significantly more improved than posttest CG group tests (SA, P= 0.011, SD, P= 0.007, p<0.05), but not in passing accuracy (P= 0.623, p>0.05). The results of this study show that plyometric training improves shooting accuracy and speed dribbling of handball team player’s technical skill performance, whereas plyometric training has not improved passing accuracy technical skill performance of handball team players. Based on the result and conclusion of the study recommendation will be forwarded for the concerned bodies.

Abstract: PURPOSE: The aim of the paper is to present the results of a recent research survey (February 2021) in a broader context of the issue to determine whether university students devote themselves as much as possible to specific sports and physical activities even at the time of the ongoing pandemic associated with the spread of COVID-19. METHODS: To meet the objectives of the research survey, the method of questioning – an online questionnaire – was chosen. The total number of the university students who were addressed was 1164, 530 first-year students answered. The questionnaires were subjected to the statistical classification of the first-level data. RESULTS: The results of the research confirmed that first-year students of all VSB-TUO faculties, who as graduates of the relevant secondary school could no longer complete the subject Physical Education due to pandemic measures, preferred unorganized physical activities in accordance with the situation, such as walks, including walking the dog. 34.8% of respondents answered that they “did not miss sport” or that they “were not interested in sport at all”. CONCLUSION: The study summarizes the latest reflections on impersonal forms of teaching of Physical Education on the motivation and intensity of sports and physical activities within the general level of foreign surveys as well.

Abstract: The bibliographic tour carried out allowed us to know some of the problems of communication in scientific research. E hese studies They have given treatment to the communicative approach of the language and have contributed to the development of communicative competence a work from the teaching-learning process of the language itself for the benefit of the student's scientific culture. For the most part, the interest in the development of communicative competence and its dimensions has prevailed; but, even when the discursive in research is recognized among these dimensions, it is observed that its potentialities are not yet used to address the problems that occur in the research process, and that is precisely the approach with which the object of this project is addressed research. However, there are few studies in the university environment of Physical Culture. From there emanates the need to develop the scientific culture of future professionals in Physical Culture. The study characterizes the scientific, research skills and communication must possess the professional of Physical Culture in its link with the academic components, labor and scientist who would p ropicien a creative thought. A diagnosis was made students and teachers d and the race that reported some difficulties in communicating scientific results and the lack of these investigative skills. The methodology is based on a qualitative approach based on the collection of information provided by a sample of teachers and students, to whom a survey was applied that allowed the formation of the required information, verified through scientific observation and triangulation. of data with other bibliographic sources consulted. The description, explanation and evaluation carried out are the results that are presented here and are integrated into the proposed didactic strategy.
